Our first step in our process is to take samples from both selected areas. Courtney volunteered to take a sample from the Little Patuxent River the day before our tests. She proceeded to take two samples from the stream: one with the Dissolved Oxygen Sampler and the other with a 500 ml plastic water container. Aida and Craig volunteered to take samples from our stream at Herbert Run the morning of our test using similar vessels.
We decided as a group, that each member would take one test and conduct an analysis on both samples. This should ensure a consistency of technique from each member.
